Thank you English Russia! How bizarre, Russia is definitely my next destination of travel…
The lonely traveller! I love this shot, I was gutted I only had my very basic point and shoot sony camera with me.

Another simple HDR shot at Pollock Country House, Glasgow… Love the sunlight through the trees.
Quick snap of my friend at a party, a close crop and I don’t think that it’s bad at all… Quite a heavy impact shot, added a little grain and a black and white conversion…
Go’s to show sometimes its the simple shots that work out the best.

Taken at the end of summer 2010, looking out across the River Clyde in Glasgow, as the sun sets it was a beautiful night with the sky full of amazing colour.
I’d half threatened to stay at home as well! Glad I didn’t…

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
A number of my friends call me the cerebral assassin due to my odd and slightly disconcerting ability to remember so much useless information. I can remember vast amounts of my childhood in absolute Technicolor detail. As for the earliest memory whilst I remember so much it is hard to put it in any sort of chronological order now but my guess at my earliest known memory would be puking down the back of my mums new dress when she was going out for the first time since my birth. There are pictures of this pre-puke that I only found out about recently but what I remember more than anything else about this was that she was wearing perfume I couldn’t say what type but this was the first time certainly that I had ever smelt her wear anything like that.
Strange the way our minds work?
This shot sums up the disparity and contrast of India that the cultures are coliding in a way that we in the west can barely grasp. Good living within your reach, the optimism is out standing one of the hardest things that I found was to see people who were living well below the poverty line who were capable of such generosity, love and happiness when back home in Scotland so few people even smile in the street or talk to each other it makes me think really we are not the richest.
Please visit ICS Learn, who were kind enough to send me on this photographic journey on their behalf. They are running India Experiences and I can only recommend it to everyone.

I can’t believe no one viewed this or re-commented on it! In my opinion personal as it may be there is no single shot that I have seen, and trust me I have been looking! That sums up the modernity of India in such a nutshell! As Oscar Wilde stated “We are all in the gutter, but some of us who are looking at the stars”
